Born 1982 in St. Gallen, living in Z\u00fcrich, Switzerland. He startet his musical career as a DJ in a Hip Hop context and changed to drums at the age of 17. Main influences are afroamerican music as well as electronic and folcloric styles from all over the world.<\/p>\n

Masters of Arts in Music at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Studies with Norbet Pfammatter, the late Fabian Kuratli, Marc Halbheer, Pierre Favre and Fredy Studer.<\/p>\n

Winner of the Friedl-Wald Foundation scholarship 2008.<\/p>\n

Working as freelance artist since 2006 with musicians such as: Pierre Favre, Wolfgang Zwiauer, Lionel Gafner, Christoph Baumann, Rafael Schilt, Phillip Schaufelberger, composing for its own Quintet Quetzal and teaching drums at public Music Schools and to private students.<\/p>\n
