Born 1982 in St. Gallen, living in Zürich, Switzerland. He startet his musical career as a DJ in a Hip Hop context and changed to drums at the age of 17. Main influences are afroamerican music as well as electronic and folcloric styles from all over the world.

Masters of Arts in Music at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Studies with Norbet Pfammatter, the late Fabian Kuratli, Marc Halbheer, Pierre Favre and Fredy Studer.

Winner of the Friedl-Wald Foundation scholarship 2008.

Working as freelance artist since 2006 with musicians such as: Pierre Favre, Wolfgang Zwiauer, Lionel Gafner, Christoph Baumann, Rafael Schilt, Phillip Schaufelberger, composing for its own Quintet Quetzal and teaching drums at public Music Schools and to private students.
